All-Star Lineup Announced for Perú Fusion's 2019 Grand Tasting Event in Montclair, New Jersey
Perú Fusion’s fifth annual edition of its signature culinary Grand Tasting event will be held on Sunday, October 27, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 18 label Studios in Montclair, New Jersey. The event will be curated by celebrity Chef Miguel Aguilar; winner of the Food Network’s TV’s show “Chopped” and a finalist of Esquire TV's “Knife Fight”. The Grand Tasting event will feature more than 15 celebrated chefs and rising stars on the New York & New Jersey Peruvian restaurant scene. In addition, you’ll be up close and personal with renowned Chef Miguel Aguilar from Surfish Bistro in Brooklyn and Chef Jose Luis Chavez from Mission Ceviche in NYC as they perform a culinary demonstration of Peruvian recipes relying on unique ingredients, long lasting cooking traditions and diverse culinary techniques. Also, guests will enjoy a special musical performance of colorful mysticism and passion by the band Festejation playing psychedelic cumbia and Afro-Peruvian music.
The tasting event will feature samples of signature dishes and drinks from local-renowned talent, including Miguel Aguilar (Surfish Bistro), Jose Luis Chavez (Mission Ceviche), Belen Bailey (Sweets by Belen), Andres Placencia (Costanera Restaurant), Manuel Santisteban (Pollo D’ Oro), Fabian Marquez (Latusion Food Truck), Ezequiel Valencia (Bravazo Restaurant), Luis Caballero (Caleta 111), Michael Ciuffardi (Inca Social), Paul Diaz (Lima Restaurant), Bell Ruiz (La Kocona), Fernando Falcon (El Trigal del Peru), Wilfredo Zacarias (Valentino Restaurant), Guillermo Wong (La Mistura de Wong), Tito Castillo (Mama Pio Kitchen), Miguel Quinteros (Quinteros Catering), Yuki Nakandakari (Ceviche Brothers), among many others.
