Bodegas & Viñedos Tabernero was founded in the Valley of Chincha, province of Ica, 200 kilometers south of Lima, capital of Peru. Pisco Tabernero is made with carefully selected “aromatic” grapes and a rigorous selection of quality brandy grapes slowly distilled in French copper stills.
So while many Piscos are made from a single varietal, Tabernero Acholado, is a beautiful blend, just like it’s namesakes. This pisco is the perfect blend of tradition and Tabernero’s innovations. It combines Quebranta and Italia grapes to create a perfect mix that highlights the qualities of the both. It has a welcoming floral aroma with a hint of Muscat. It delivers a taste that reflects to blended grapes with hints of plum, sea salt, and raw honey with a nice peppery finish.
Pisco Santiago Queirolo
Valley of Cañete, Ica, Peru
Since 1880 Pisco Queirolo shares with all peruvians moments of celebration. Made with pisqueras grapes selected from vineyards located in the valleys of Cañete and Ica. These are pressed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures in order to obtain the best must that, distilled in copper stills, result in a flavor appreciated and recognized by connoisseurs.
Pisco Finca Rotondo
Bodega Viña Vieja, Sunampe, Peru
The Viña Vieja Winery was founded in 1885. It is currently a modern family winery that began its history at the end of the 19th century, in the Chinchana area of Sunampe. By 1932, Viña Vieja winery had more than 42 hectares of vineyards, where grapes of varieties such as Quebranta, Malbec and Albilla were grown. Its production in 1935 amounted to more than 400 thousand liters of wines and piscos. By 1950, Luca Dónola's children, Isabel Dónola Toche and her brothers, inherited the property of the winery. Over the years it would pass into the hands of Alfredo Rotondo Dónola, Doña Isabel's son. Starting in 2012, the complete renovation of the winery was undertaken in order to offer products whose quality and identity allow it to compete successfully in the local and international market. Today the winery offers a varied and attractive range of wines and piscos under the Finca Rotondo brand.
